sleep paralysis?

I was renting an in-law unit on the ground floor next to the garage of a two-story family home. The home was nice and well kept and I hadn’t experienced anything weird or creepy up until this experience. I had just gotten home from class and decided to take a nap before the next lab that evening. I clearly remember that I set my digital alarm clock to go off at 4:30pm. Laid down on my side and fell asleep (it was around 3:40pm at that time). Next thing I know, I was awakened by a woman’s voice calling out to me. “Alexis? Are you there?”. I woke up, eyes wide open and focused on the digital alarm clock with the red LED light staring at me. It was 4:00pm. I was trying to sit up, but realized I was paralyzed. My eyes were open, I could hear someone calling out to me, but I couldn’t for the life of me respond or move. The female voice traveled from inside by my room entry door to outside of my windowsill. In that moment, my main concern was to wake up and get out of this weird paralyzed state to answer the door and ignored the fact that this mysterious voice calling me was coming from different directions inside and outside of the house. All of a sudden, I felt something hovering over me. It was as though a weighted blanket was over my body. There was added pressure on my head that was pushing my face down into my pillow. I was trying to scream and kick to no avail. What seemed like forever finally ended when I finally jolted awake. I jumped out of bed, the time was STILL 4:00pm and I ran to the door. For some reason, I was still on a mission to see what my landlord wanted. As I pass through the entryway between my in-law suite unit bathroom and into the main house, all of the lights were off and no one in sight. I call out to my landlord thinking maybe she was upstairs, but no answer. I went into the garage and none of the cars were there so obviously no one was home. I turn to go back inside the house and the garage door opens. I turn towards the garage and as the garage door is rolling up, I can see my landlords car on the street and she’s turning into the driveway. I waited for her to park and asked if she needed to talk to me. I was even apologetic that I didn’t answer the door because I was napping. She looked at me confused and said, “What? I wasn’t at your door. I haven’t been home for a couple hours because I had to run errands.” The shock on my face when she said that. I called my mom after and told her what happened. She tried to console me and said it was just a bad dream… What did I just experience?
